I loved FEAR & FEAR 2 but this one, this one...doesn't feel right.

agreed the added , somewhat strange, co-op element doesnt seem right either.

Im sorry but the whole FEAR experience left a dirty taste in my mouth when i got raped by a dead chick. Doesnt matter how many times i scrub i feel cheap dirty and used!

seems like you see the girl for too long. i remember the 1st one, where i wasnt even sure i saw something. It made me that paranoid.

I do like Horror games, but from the little gameplay i've seen so far, they seem to have gone down the cliched route of, its horror so it must be in the dark to be scary... which you definately dont.

I always think of the FEAR games as a ruddy good rent....but that's it.

the guns don't seem to have any weight to them. i know it's weird saying that from a video, but that's the feel it gave me from watching. AI looked poor too. the first game rocked, the sequel didn't, and i think this will have a similar feel to that.

Arrgh it started really good and scary and then got silly. Is there any way I can just play the freaky parts of the game? :(

Am i the only person who liked FEAR 1 because the guns felt meaty and the whole environments exploded into dust and sparks when you shot them? Not to mention the great AI.

Seems like they have taken all this out, FEAR 2 felt watered down and this one looks like a bag of shit with all this gay magic crap in it. grrrr

Meh. Like I said before, the coop function just doesn't work here, and playing as the telepathci guy (forgot his name) just seems weird. It does look like it will have some scares here and there and some nice effects, but I'm not impressed.

I'll just go to Steam, buy the first one for 8 euro and enjoy a decent FEAR game instead of buying this for 50 euro.

    Well it started out promising....

they've really overdone the "ooh, scary" bits - the sections with text scrawled on walls, blood goo moving around and all the other junk is just horribly forced. some of the scariest moments of FEAR 1 were in entirely normal office space environments where the merest twitch or flicker of a PC screen was enough to send you into a panic.

this? not feeling it at all.

These games always try and do too much and the balance of action and supposed scares just doesn't work. Time to give it a rest I think.
