US dates for Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid
Plus: Monster Hunter Tri date, DQ IX for US.
Nintendo has announced US release dates for Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M and Monster Hunter Tri.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be released in the US on 23rd May.
At a press event yesterday the platform holder showed how Mario can drill from one side of the planet to another to solve puzzles and battle enemies. Yoshi was also seen in action.
Monster Hunter Tri will be out in the US on 20th April, while Metroid: Other M will arrive on 27th June.
Square Enix and Nintendo also announced plans to bring DS title Dragon Quest IX to the US this summer.
Nintendo Europe is hosting a similar event in London today and should be expected to announce European release dates once it gets underway.
Look out for our previews of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M very soon, assuming the line-up's the same.

It's in their best interests to do so if they want to minimise piracy. DO IT NINTENDO.

Still, that's an excellent (if long overdue!) three months for Wii owners. Here's hoping the UK dates are similar.
