UK charts: Wii Fit still perched on top
New Battlestations does admirably.
Wii Fit is balanced atop the UK All-Formats chart for a seventh consecutive week, taking its lifetime top-spot total to 16.
Nintendo's healthy game is now only two weeks away from breaking the all-time number-one record, which is held by Eidos' Who Wants to be a Millionaire. That game, incidentally, was the first in British history to sell one million copies.
Eidos' new release Battlestations: Pacific looks unlikely to reproduce that kind of success at number 10, unfortunately. Zip over to our Battlestations: Pacific review to see what we thought.
Elsewhere, Killzone 2 and Halo Wars take a bit of a dive, while Rhythm Paradise stays pleasingly prominent at 12.
Those off the bottom are Race Driver: GRID, Guitar Hero III and Burnout Paradise.

Can that be true? Are you telling me that something like Mario Bros 3 or Ocarina of Time didn't sell a million copies?

And yes I do own it.........and yes I paid silly money for it at xmas for a present.........not bitter tho........

I don't even think a million N64s were sold here, let alone copies of OoT. It's sadly probably true. GTA 3 and VC only sold 600k each here.

One word: "24/7 Tesco"
When I was in one of them once during a business trip and late arriving in the hotel I couldn't get this:
a single bottle of Coke Light
a single bar of chocolate
a single package of crisps
All I found were MASSIVE bundles of each.
No wonder those chicks are fat...

Coke light? Maybe if you had bought some diet coke or coke zero you might have found some suprising results.
As for a single packet of crisps or a single bar of chocolate, not sure if Tesco still sell them at the checkouts or the tobacco kiosk(I'm a Sainsburys or M&S man myself) but you don't have to eat the entire multipack.
As for Wii Fit doin so well: £69.99 roughly per unit, clearly Nintendo are a bit like McDonalds...Lovin it basically.
