UK charts: Wii Fit Plus a healthy winner
Dragon Age arrives at five.
Wii Fit Plus finds itself on top of a busy UK chart this week, following positive reviews from the likes of us.
Dragon Age: Origins is the next new entry at five. BioWare's monster RPG has won the hearts of many gamers, but not quite enough to propel it above FIFA 10, Wii Sports Resort and Football Manager 2010, which it sits just behind.
SingStar: Take That, meanwhile, misses the top 10 completely, arriving at 16, but performs well for a band-related spin-off release. Sony may be disappointed with Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, however, which enters at 22.
There's rare disappointment for Activision, too, as Band Hero hits all the wrong notes and doesn't even make the top 40. The Wii version is highest on its platform-specific chart at 14. DJ Hero also spends a second week in the middle of the all-formats top 40, this time at 21. Oh well - Modern Warfare 2 will probably do alright.
Ubisoft's crowd-pleaser Rabbids Go Home also starts poorly, despite favourable reviews, only showing up at 13 on the Wii chart.
Elsewhere, Brutal Legend falls out of the top 40, as do Batman: Arkham Asylum, The Beatles: Rock Band and Colin McRae: DiRT 2.

Hopefully it'll be a sleeper hit that sells over a long period of time but releasing it the same week as Dragon Age: Origins and one week before CoD: Modern Warfare 2 perhaps wasn't the most sensible idea really...

And poor old ratchet and clank. The closest thing to a pixar cartoon we've got on consoles, with good cross-generational appeal, great mechanics, graphics etc. consigned to a machine with a more mature (I mean older on average) user group than the 360 and being roundly ignored because of that. Shame. Almost be worth a Wii port, if you could keep the level of polish on there. They're dying for some decent 3rd party games

They released way too many R&C games on the PS2, probably wore people's interest in the series down.
