Rainbow Islands coming to XBLA
Along with Inferno Pool.
Microsoft's Major Nelson has announced this week's new Xbox Live Arcade titles on his blog.
First up is Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure, a new iteration of the classic platformer. Or not so new if you've played the WiiWare version, which was released earlier this year. Expect local, online, co-op and competitive multiplayer modes and lots of very bright colours.
Or how about Inferno Pool from UK developer Dark Energy Digital? It features 8-ball and 9-ball games plus a multiplayer mode for up to four players. There are combos, bank shots, kick shots, jump shots and multiballs to enjoy, not to mention Inferno Mode, where flames fly out of the pockets and your potting power is doubled.
Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure and Inferno Pool will be released on Wednesday, priced at 800 Microsoft Points each (£6.80 / €9.60).

I've played better PD rip-offs in my time which managed to be more faithful into the bargain!
