PixelJunk Monsters expansion in April News

Sony is readying a PixelJunk Monsters expansion for release on the US PlayStation Store in April.

Dubbed Encore, it will add 15 fresh levels to conquer, plus visual effects like weather, and rebalance some gameplay bits and pieces. Whatever that means.

Unfortunately Sony Europe has no price or date for us just yet, but we expect little difference between the two regions.

PixelJunk Monsters was released on PSN in January and charmed us with its retro-style RTS mechanics and approachable design. It was only GBP 3.49, too.

PJM had a simultaneous US/EU release, so there's no reason why this DLC shouldn't.

I thought I'd prefer new towers and monsters too, but looking at the screenshots I relised I've never even used most of them! Never built a single Ice or Tesla tower.

New levels for it are most welcome.
