BFME2 expansion on way

Long title gets longer.

DVD printers of the world revolt: EA's The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth II is to receive a PC expansion. It's going to be called (actually, we should probably move it to its own paragraph)...

The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king.

The news was first mooted on a web-forum by one of EA's e-minions, who said more information would be revealed later this week during a comic convention.

Details on the game are non-existent for the moment, then - although we can surmise that it'll have something to do with the lord of the Nazgul - and we've been unable to un-middle-earth a release date from our spies either, but expect to hear more about it very soon.

    Since when have RTS games and Tolkien had any interest to chavs?

    I could understand that if it was NFS Underground Super Bling 3, but Lord of the Rings?

    YES! Generic Re-hashed point and click games!

    I love these 90's games that have no new additions and are re-hashed repeatedly by EA! Get in!

    Gimme some 'unit booster packs' while your there! I'll even give you £6.99 if you make my Gandalf have Cathodes!

    Did the marketing machine at EA break down? It's almost like they threw the game to the work experience kid down in the mailroom.

    First Colin Mcrae's DIRT and now LOTR:RRSOGLSGLE, it's the month of crappy game titles.

    @FluffyTucker

    Oh yeah thats it, LOTR RTS games are obviously chav fare.

    In fact I often see the dangerous youth of my town on their way to a chess tournament dressed in wizards hats and curtain capes.

    @jmctavish

    You put it somewhat more concisely than me :) I think some people just like using the word as a general reference for stuff they don't like. Its fashunabl you see.
