Hitman: Blood Money dated
Killing time.
Eidos is planning to release Hitman: Blood Money in Europe on 26th May, the publisher's announced.
As we reported earlier this month, Blood Money won't just be on PS2, Xbox and PC, either - there's an Xbox 360 version on the way too, and it's due out at the same time.
In the latest Hitman game, Agent 47's gone wogue and can't be contwolled ala that bloke out of Ronin who annoyed Stellan Skarsgård, although actually not because in this case his employers are being systematically assassinated so he's hot-footed it to the US to do some work off his own back.
What's in the case?
The Blood Money of the title is actually the stuff he'll be fighting to earn - one of the new Hitman's key features is trying to execute the perfect hit to get the maximum possible return.
We'll let you know how it turns out.

I hope the "perfect hit" isn't defined as following a prescribed path to achieve the kill. I thought Hitman 2 was at the peak when it came to giving the player freedom to design their own assasination attempts.
Contracts then was a lot more limiting by comparison. Sure it gave you several methods by which you could kill your target, but they were very contrived methods (dropping a petrol can down a chimney whilst your target enjoys a glass of sherry in the parlor anyone?). So even though you sort of had choice, you were only really choosing which predesigned path to take.
I prefer to be able to just make it up myself, redesigning on the fly if things go wrong. Hitman 2 was a lot more accommodating in that sense.
Still I have high hopes though. I still liked the series, even if the last venture was less than I was hoping for.

That'll be the one that did really well in the US then?

You could even kill EVERYONE on the map or just the target, I love games that give you choice.

Where as on the other hand i thought contracts mission's got better and better as the game progressed, the only thing spoiling them was the story which up untill very near the end of the game was for me totally baffling!
levels like the meat king and the one in the hotel with the two brothers, must be some of the best levels i've ever seen in a game, the amount of ways to take out the hit combined with the supurb atmosphere (especially on the meat king level) just blew everything else out of the water
..............I cannot wait for this one!!!!!
