MS to refund Braid discount victims
Offering a cash bonus to say sorry.
Microsoft promises to refund people who were overcharged for a discounted copy of Braid from Xbox Live Arcade.
Braid was chopped to 800 MSP (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60) as Deal of the Week a while ago, but technical glitch meant people were still paying 1200 MSP (GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40) to play the acclaimed puzzle game.
To say sorry, Microsoft will round the refund up to 500 MSP (GBP 4.25 / EUR 6), and aims to reimburse people affected sometime in the coming weeks.
Thanks, Kotaku.

If it is a scam, it's a pretty rubbish one, as it doesn't ask you to do anything or provide any information.
