More Buzz! for Sony consoles this March

Sony looking for Brain Of The UK.

Sony will launch Buzz! Brain Of The UK on PS3, PS2 and PSP here this March.

Questions cover things that happen on our fair isles: bands, cities, sports personalities - or not, Michael Owen - telly, wildlife, food and so on and so forth.

The PS3 version has 4000 taxing teasers, and the results will be recorded for leaderboards so Sony can find out who the most knowledgeable person in the UK is. Stephen Fry. There; do I win something? Well, no; Sony told Eurogamer the only prize will be bragging rights.

Aside from the extra questions, Brain Of The UK will work the same as Buzz! PS3. There's no price yet, but Sony said the amount of content is akin to a full game rather than premium quiz pack. Pricey, maybe.

The PSP version has all those questions plus a pass the parcel-style multiplayer mode for six people. This should be perfect for making a friend look stupid when trivia weak-spots pop up. Sony doesn't expect leaderboard support to feature for the handheld.

Finally the PS2 has "thousands of questions on the UK" and works the same as every other Buzz! game on the console.

Head over to our Buzz! Brain Of The UK (PS3/PS2/PSP) galleries for a closer look.

When will they make a proper gaming quiz so I can stop looking stupid in front of friends and family? :(

I know you can get the PS3 game quiz add on, but the majority of the questions I kept getting weren't even that relevant, such as "What game does Peter Griffin star in?!" and about fifty Simpsons ones.

A bit wadge of questions are all well and good but they have to sort the rounds out. Considering its a game aimed at a casual market the older portion who played it this xmas with me found it too reactions heavy for most of the rounds. Also its cack for 2 players with the pie round throwing the scores out of what, point stealer being redundant etc. The single player mode is dire too when compared to something like the PSP game. More round types for that and the online too please.

Hope the fix the font issue, the text looked pants on a standard def TV and was unreadable for anyone over 6 feet from it.

    Other than that...

    Yay! more Buzz! \o/

Hope the VFM on the question packs improves with this one.

It's a platform exclusive, so a proper broad gaming version of Buzz is an impossibility.
And lets face it, with all the licensing issues a third party would come across in order to get a truly general gaming quizz made, probably means it will never happen.

More variety in the online rounds and i would be playing this more than i do. Until then i get bored of knowing exactly what round's coming next! Just needs mixing up a little.

I wish the PS3 version of Buzz had more or less the same variety as the PS2 versions.

AND, would you please let us customise the quiz to our OWN preference.

Please give us stats after the game, as with PS2 version!!!!! Lets move things forward (not backward).
