More Army of Two DLC on the way

EA has 'plan' for the coming months.

Hot on the heels of the announcement of the Veteran Map Pack for Army of Two, videogaming247 brings us the news that more DLC is in the pipeline for EA's shooter.

Quoting an EA representative, the site reports that there is an "ongoing plan" for new content for the game - with more releases on the way "over the coming months".

No specifics have been revealed about what's in the pipeline, and it's not clear whether future DLC for Army of Two will be free. The Veteran Map Pack, which includes a pair of brand new co-op maps, is a free download, but that's no guarantee for the future, of course.

Army of Two set itself up to be the most fun you could have with a friend without delving into broad-minded sexual experimentation - and despite some concerns, Oli warmed to the game as a "smart twist on a stupid shooter". Find out why by reading the review.

EA - It's not in the game.

Might buy this game when it's £10. Co-op is usually a laugh, they can't have fecked it up that badly that it isn't worth a few quid.

    @septimus

AoT is very entertaining in coop and easily worth the asking price. It has gotten ok reviews from the critics but its quite underrated imho.

    Unpretentious fun. It's very nice.

i was really looking forward to it. But (on the ps3 anyway) the controls are horrible and aiming was so awkward. I was really dissapointed. Really want a good co-op shooter. Had hoped Haze would have helped there but from all accounts.....

    Shame really.

I will add i only played it split screen, maybe with full view its alot better. Just felt too fidly and a bit meh

The controls are pretty good on the 360. I actually found the coversystem too be very good too.

maybe im just cack handed then. Dont normally have a problem with fps games (though will admit im pretty rubbish at them). It just felt a bit unfluid when aiming.

Great fun in co-op. Not so fun in singleplayer.

I picked it up a pre-owned copy for about £15 for the PS3 and spent hours playing it in co-op. Why it got the panning it received in some quarters I really don't know.

Granted its no Citizen Kane. But then again, if you watch Citizen Kane you don't get to see someone shoot a shitload of people in the face with an AK-47 that looks like something concocted by the creators of Bratz.

    Disengage brain. Engage trigger finger.

I loved the PS3 version in co-op, and it half price in Hong Kong.

Cool, good to hear. Will pick up a copy for me and a mate if I find a reasonable price.
