DS game Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days enters the Japanese chart at number one this week, amassing nearly 300,000 sales. That's more like it, Japan.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth debuts just behind at two with a meaty 171,940 sales, according to Media Create data (translated on NeoGAF). The game is out here later this year.

Newcomer Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires follows at three on PS3, while the Xbox 360 version rounds the chart out at 10. Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires is out here on 26th June.

There's another new entry at five in Marvelous' PSP game Half-Minute Hero, which is tailed by other debutantes 3rd Chapter - Rasen (DS), Aqua Plus (PSP) and Tom Clancy's HAWX (PS3) at six, seven and eight, respectively.

Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou! 2 is the only other game from last week to keep a top 10 place at nine.

And there are other new releases further down: SEGA's The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya (DS) at 12, D3Publisher's Tactics Layer: Ritina Guard Senki (DS) at 26, Battlestations: Pacific (360) at 27, The Last Guy (PS3) at 28 and Memories Off 6: Trial Wave (PSP) at 30.

There's more: Welcome to Sheep Village Portable (PSP) at 33, Nippon Ichi's A Witch's Tale: Apprentice Witch and Seven Princesses (DS) at 36, Bamboo Blade: Sorekara no Chousen (DS) at 38, Silver-Eyed Witch (DS) at 40 and Myself; Yourself: Sorezore no Finale (PS2) at 47.

Hardware sales for DS are up and healthy again at 73,056, and there's a slight number-boost across the board.

Whoa! Only two console games on the list, and not a single Wii game! What's happening over there? Shovelware glut?

Somebody forgot Sloan and MacHale, not that I'm blame them, as it's not been really highly advertised yet in those parts of the world, but it is notable for selling out consistently here and looking like it might be another long seller for Level 5.

Aye...Edgie joins my list of most wanted!! Great re Kingdom Hearts doing well and cant wait for both.

Although EG does usually publishes Japan charts, I think this gives us gamers the glimpse of new games worthy of our attentions and forewarn us of what would be coming.

US... why bother as too similar to us Europeans as part of the Westerners taste but usually just a few months ahead of us for a number of games.

The titles might change, the predictability doesn't.
