God of War III demo on PSN Store
Plus: Comics Store, VidZone, Video Store.
There's a mountain of new content on the PlayStation Store today, and the biggest new arrival is a demo for God of War III.
That may have prompted THQ to release a 90-minute demo of Darksiders and it may not. But those who haven't tried the God of War-alike (with tones of Zelda), ought to.
You can also test out and buy FIFA 10 Ultimate Team, the card-collecting add-on that returns for a second year with a raft of improvements and plenty of EA PR noise. Any good? We'll soon tell you.
PSP owners get to try out Eye of Judgement: Legends, too.
Today's new PSN game is Greed Corp., the turn-based strategy game with a green message: don't mine the world for too many resources or it will crumble and disappear. There's an interesting-looking PSP Minis called Age of Zombies, which you can read about on the EU PlayStation blog.
There's plenty of extra PS3 game content to snap up today: Borderlands' Secret Armory of General Knoxx, Valkyria Chronicles' Challenge of the Edy Detachment and Uncharted 1's multiplayer pack to name a few.
Elsewhere, the Comics Store for PSP gains Transformers and Avengers, and VidZone adds some Shakira, whose hips don't lie.
The UK Video Store was updated earlier this week as well, bringing Michael Jackson documentary This Is It to the public - my, what big hands he had.

It's still an amazing demo, but it's a shame that the latest graphical features and tweaks can't be experienced.

Darksiders demo was good, very long too, the boss was pretty tough, as were 2 puzzles. Very accomplished game, but not special or particularly memorable in any regard, still might get it at a reduced price, it's by no means bad, it's pleasant and it's very playable
got the Valkyria DLC, only just started the first mission, it's not a new map, seemed okay, not as unique as the last batch, but whatever, 6 new skirmishes for 4 euro is more than enough value, VC fans will like it, if not love it
the US store got Grandia today, so I'm kind of jealous, i'd buy it on my US account, but then i couldn't play it on my PSP
excellent update anywy you slice it, now i'm prepared for another month of lbp costumes, rock band tracks and themes

The Darksiders demo unfortunately suffers a little in the quality stakes compared even with that 8 month old GoWIII build though and I thought it was a little bland personally, both the gameplay and visuals, but, nevertheless, it's very generous in terms of length. At least you'll know by the end of it whether you like the game or not.

If there aren't any major techincal issues with the GOWIII demo then it's probably best that Santa Monica Studios invested their time into finishing and polishing the game rather than splitting its resources just to make another demo.
Anyway, the game is out in less than a month and I cannot wait!!!

I have never played a GOW game before but this one looks epic so im desperate to try this one.
However i have 5000Mb free on my playstation 3, the GOW 3 demo is 2900Mb but when i click download it tells me that i dont have enough space on my hard disk.....any ideas why this is.....?

I think it's because the PS3 installs the data it has downloaded, you need twice the available space (the demo is 2671MB so you need at least 5342MB free).
