Roughly two weeks away.

EA has announced that a FIFA 10 demo will be released on 10th September for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The US will be offered the demo seven days later on 17th September.

The sampler offers an exhibition match and a choice of being either Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Marseille or Chicago Fire. You'll be able to upload your videos to EA Football World, too.

FIFA 10 arrives proper on 2nd October, and introduces 360-degree dribbling to the series among other things. We had much to say about the football game after jetting to EA Canada earlier this month.

boo, they should cycle through teams available for the demo rather than go back to the teams they used two years ago.

yep that's the only complaint I have.

Demo is magnificent, played it at Gamescom. Love how you fight even more for the ball this time. Can't wait untill 2nd of October.

So presumably the PC version will be a limp shadow of the console versions as it usually is? PES is normally the only sensible option for us.

Cool, that was sooner than anticipated. Though a week earlier would be better, rather than the day after Beatles RB comes out. Grrr.

I thought the PC version of 09 was rather good. I never did get a hang of the mouse controls, since I used my 360 controlle(wired)r more often than not.

"Finally, the big question� Why is there no next-gen engine on PC?
It�s down to the fact that not everyone has a high-end PC, but in time it will get closer. Currently only 10% of consumers have machines capable of running the next-gen engine."

I know graphics aren't everything but this sort of thing just pisses me off.

EA have been using this bullshit excuse about PC hardware for years, why can't they just be honest and say its down to investment and the fact that it will be heavily pirated.
