Eidos name to live on through developers
Publishing through Square Enix Europe.
Square Enix is to form a new entity, called Square Enix Europe, which will handle all publishing for Square Enix and Eidos titles in future, GamesIndustry.biz reports.
But while the Eidos name will no longer be associated with publishing, Squenix has said that it will continue to live on through development studios around the world, which will now report to Square Enix Europe. Eidos Montreal, for example, is working on Deus Ex and Thief titles.
Square Enix Europe - a working name for the time being - will combine the companies' sales and marketing offices, resulting in a number of job losses. "We are hoping to minimise this wherever possible and offer support and advice to any employees directly affected," the company said.
Eidos shareholders agreed to the Square Enix takeover earlier this year.

I agree completely. names dont mean shit anyway as long as nothing is changed in the games. I hope they dont mess with Tomb Raider or Hitman either.
