EA has announced a new MySims "flying action-adventure" for DS, Wii and, for the first time, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The game is called MySims SkyHeroes and will be released this autumn.

The campaign follows pilots rising from fledgling fighters to celebrated heroes, and across dogfights and aerial speed challenges. The story concerns some bloke called Morcubus, who throws big bosses at you from time to time.

Underpinning this is an upgrade system; wings can be upgraded for better manoeuvrability, engines swapped for raw power and paint slapped on to help hide in the sky.

Better still, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have local (split-screen) and online multiplayer. The latter has up to 10 people working together or fighting each other.

MySims has covered various genres on DS and Wii, such as racing, city-building and party-games. The games are cute and colourful and generally review favourably.
