E3: Rockstar North exclusive for PS3 News

Sony has announced a new PlayStation 3 exclusive from Rockstar North called Agent during its ongoing E3 conference.
According to SCEA boss Jack Tretton, it "will take a player across the globe amid the shadowy world of espionage and assassins in the darkest hours of the 1970s".
Rockstar kept its distance from the conference - although it usually does, preferring to show games in its own way later.
Mentioning GTA's impact on PlayStation, Tretton added: "We expect Agent to have the same must-have value."
Terms of the exclusive weren't discussed, so we don't know if it will turn up on Xbox 360 or PC some day, and we also have nothing on a release date just yet.

After all the shit that GTA got for going exclusive, suddenly its the PS3 and what one comment? Wheres the uproar

How dare they either accept money from a platform holder or choose within their own initiative to produce exclusives for a single platform in a free society with free market values!? Rant, rant, rant!

I think R* owe Sony an exclusive IP (something agreed in a contract ages ago). No idea what's happening with LA Noir though.

Thought it was a bit weird they announced it without showing anything or indeed saying anything about it, other than it was exclusive.

seriously, this will end up on the 360 in the end... remember last year when ms said that fallout 3 had exclusive dlc? well looky here! seems that sonys getting that 'exclusive' dlc too, and possibly the gta4 dlc stuff to boot... exclusives, are only exclusive until the check clears.... |

Although now I see R* Vancouver is also listed as the developer for Bully. But anyway R* North made the GTA series on PS2/xbox so this one should be good.
