Electronic Arts has announced release dates for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
The game will be released in Europe on 5th March. The US will get it three days earlier.
The announcement was made at EA's gamescom press conference in Cologne. Top exec Patrick Soderlund promised BF: BC2 will "redefine online multiplayer gaming". An impressive trailer followed, complete with plenty of guns, bombs, tanks and things going bang.

Can't wait for Battlefield Bad Company 2, I loved the first one. Sure it had few faults and the multiplayer wasn't great (unusual for a Battlefield game) but it was bags of fun with some really interesting and fun characters. Now which platform should I get it on? PS3 or PC? Decisions decisions...

@svd_grasshopper I'm not saying that B:BF's multiplay was bad, just not as good as I was expecting. Although it was better than CoD4 in my opinion (I can feel those downvotes coming my way). I would have liked it better if it was closer to something like Enemy Territory Quake Wars.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Enemy Territory Quake Wars was awful, but I too enjoyed Bad Company more than COD4, in both single player and multiplayer.

I'd buy this before COD:6:MW:2!
Medic class gets shock paddles to bring team mates back to life - WIN! Blackhawk choppers that carry a pilot, two gunners and 4 passengers - WIN! More destructible scenery - WIN! Parachutes back in - WIN! I don't know if I can wait till March. Ah well, it'll give me time to finish a load of other games first - lord knows once this is out, there will be no other games for me. |

I already pre-ordered this , for some reason I thought it was out in November . ah well . Battlefield series is my favorite franchise ever.
