Hitman's next Elusive Target is coming this Friday

Live for 72 hours.

Hitman's ninth Elusive Target will go live on 26th August at 1pm UK time, publisher Square Enix has announced.

It will be available for 72 hours.

Beyond that, we don't know where it's set or who you'll have to kill.

Elusive Contracts are Hitman at its most tense as these special missions have limited availability and can only be played once. Furthermore, your Instinct Mode that points out the location of your target is disabled while undergoing an Elusive Contract so you'll have to find your mark the old fashioned way by exploring, blending in and eavesdropping.

Hitman's most recent Bangkok, Thailand expansion just arrived last week on 16th August. Developer IO Interactive is currently planning three full seasons of Hitman, though a second season has yet to be confirmed. Still, the ambition suggests that this experimental episodic structure is going over well.
