EU PlayStation Store update 31st August
The Baconing! Bodycount! Resistance 3!
Downloadable DeathSpank threequel The Baconing headlines this week's EU PlayStation Store update. As part of Sony's PlayStation Network Play promotion, co-op character Roesha comes unlocked.
The plot picks up from part two, with DeathSpank's dabbling with the Thongs of Virtue causing the appearance of an evil clone, the Anti-Spank, which must be defeated.
PlayStation 3 owners get a demo of Codemasters' destructible shooter Bodycount, while access to the Resistance 3 multiplayer beta opens up to all.
Elsewhere, there's more Toy Story 3 costumes for LittleBigPlanet 2, and the rather premature release of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine's online pass - the game's not out until next week.

2.99 on iPad (shakes head sadly).

The Bodycount demo is pure awful.
Hopefully developers (and the publishers who grant them the money) will realise there's not much point in making FPS's unless you have a 'Battlefield' or 'Call of Duty' tacked on the box, unless you are doing something truly revolutionary, which Bodycount does not. This game will fail hard.
At least Homefront will have someone to chat to in the the bottom of the bargain bin.

(I'm genuinely asking, I have no idea what they are).

Dipswitches are essentially settings
On arcade machines they disctate criteria such as how many lives someone would have to begin with; the cost of the game; the time they had to play....and other things of such ilk.
Back in the day, they used to be actual flip switches
