Bayonetta 2 reveal this week?
Kamiya hints at an announcement.
Platinum Games could be about to go public with a follow-up to its acclaimed action title Bayonetta, judging by a Tweet from director Hideki Kamiya.
In response to a question from a follower as to when a sequel might be announced, Kamiya replied "This week... in a game magazine...", according to Andriasang's translation.
Of course, he could be pulling our legs, but with Tokyo Game Show kicking off in just over a fortnight, that timing doesn't sound too far-fetched.
This isn't the first we've head of a Bayonetta sequel. Last October, Platinum founder Atsushi Inaba said "We would love to make a sequel to it when the time is right". A month prior to that, when asked whether we could expect more from the franchise, Kamiya said "I believe so".
We've asked Sega for comment, and will update if a confession is forthcoming.

@spacedelete: PS3 Version sucked. Frame rate was atrocious. Xbox however, was close to perfect. To be honest I am quite suprised, as I would have thought Japanise would lap this game up, and seeing as they own far more PS3's than Xboxes it would have made sense to spend some time making sure they did it right.

quite a lot, the worst being 30fps and sloooowdown

Some hiccups and slowdowns but nothing criminal.
Platinum Games now made the PS3 the lead console. Look at Vanquish.

I never played version 1.00, only 1.01, and I never noticed especially long load times or framerate issues.

Much deeper and much more complex fighting system, enemies that can actually kick your arse, more flexibility, more speed and mayhem.
I realise that art direction tends to put people off, but actually even that is quite smart.
