Skyward Sword gold Remote pack unveiled

Early birds also get orchestral CD.

Nintendo has announced a special edition of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword which includes a gold, Zelda-branded Wii Remote.

Currently only confirmed for a US release, it will launch day and date with the standard edition of the game priced at $69.99 (around £42).

The initial North American production run of both the standalone release and the Remote bundle will also include a free CD featuring select orchestral arrangements of classic themes from the series, due to be performed at the Zelda 25th Anniversary concerts later this year.

The gold controller was unveiled at E3 earlier this year, suggesting a worldwide release is on the cards. We've asked Nintendo UK for European release plans - update coming soon.

The first new console Zelda since 2006's Twilight Princess launches on 18th November. See our recent Skyward Sword preview for word on how it's shaping up.
