Kratos' brother soon added to GOWIII

Must buy GOW PSP to unlock him.

Kratos' brother Deimos will soon be playable in God of War III.

But Sony's announced that the only way to unlock him will be to use a code supplied with God of War: Ghost of Sparta on PSP.

Deimos will be a skin for the existing Kratos character model. However, Deimos is rather powerful, and has enhanced combat damage and four times the health, magic and gold orbs.

When will Ghost of Sparta be released in Europe? Sony's "targeting" November at the moment, a spokesperson told Eurogamer. It'll definitely be out this year.

    Me and my mates thought Kratos' brother would be the main character of the next game, or at least play a huge role in it. . .does this new skin make that more likely or less likely? The supposed fate of his brother always intrigued me, since the first game.

    Was going to pick up Ghost of Sparta anyway, and I still need one more trophy on GOWIII. These new perks will make that easier it seems, it's a win-win situation!

    I agree, wtf is the point. If you're a god of war lover who owns a PSP you were going to buy it anyway. I really doubt anyone will buy it because of this. So it only means GOW3 owners without a PSP are screwed or have to wait for the inveitable paid dlc.

    Sounds like a gamebreaker as well.

    5th November for UK and Ireland, 4th November in Australia & New Zealand and 3rd November for the rest of PAL regions.

    I loved God of War 3 it looked amazing and was a great game to play. But once the game was completed, there wasn't much more to do with it. Does anyone know if there's another God of War planned for the PS3?

    Yep, you're spot on.

    I own GOW 1 and 2 on the PS2, GOW 3 and the HD Collection on the PS3. So i can nay access this because i don't have a PSP?

    Bugger that.

    It's not like it's the first time Sony ever played this prank on anyone, so to speak... Resistance: Retribution allowed the player to play the campaign, with a slightly different setting, if you owned Resistance 2 for the PS3.

    i remember they mentioned kratos brother in the secret video of the original god of war. is it him? his description made him sound alot different.

    I was hoping to see the brother hinted at in God Of War 1's extras. If I remember right, he was too weak for the spartans as a child and abandoned like all the other boys not up to scratch. He survived and became bitter that Kratos did not protect him so sought vengeance.

    Or I might of imagined that, oh well.
