Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 delayed to 2021

Let that sink in.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed to 2021.

In a joint statement, Andy Kipling, boss of developer Hardsuit Labs, and Jakob Munthe, boss of role-playing games at publisher Paradox, said Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 needs more time "to ensure the best player experience possible".

The statement also mentions "organisational changes", although it does not elaborate.

"We understand that this will be a disappointment to many of you, but we also appreciate how our ambition is echoed through many parts of the community. We hope you understand that, while difficult, this is the right call," the statement concludes.

Paradox confirmed Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 back at GDC 2019, where our Martin checked it out. It's the sequel to one of the cherished PC games of all time: 2004's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Hardsuit Labs is previously of Blacklight: Retribution fame. Expect a launch on PC and consoles.
