Shaun White to return, first sold 3m

Won't be sloping off any time soon.

Ubisoft plans to return to Shaun White Snowboarding after the first game in the series sold more than three million copies.

"You can expect more Shaun White in the future," Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said in a conference call after the company announced its latest financials (thanks GameSpot).

There was no other reference to it, however, or when it might be released, and Shaun White wasn't one of the games identified for release during the year ending 31st March 2010, even though other previously unannounced fair like Ghost Recon 4 did get a mention.

As you may remember, the first Shaun White game was actually a pair of the things. The PC/PS3/Xbox 360 version failed to win us over, but the Wii version fared better. "It has enough speed and novelty to capture the joys of bombing downhill, stringing a few moves together haphazardly, and barrelling into your best friend when you run out of other options," we said at the time.
