Breach, the downloadable multiplayer shooter by Six Days in Fallujah dev Atomic Games, will release on 26th January on PC and Xbox Live Arcade.

It'll cost 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 or £15 on PC.

Beach is "the first military shooter to use precise and massive destruction to change the very nature of multiplayer combat", apparently.

You can dive behind cover that's being gradually eaten away by hungry bullets, a feature that's supposed to enable real-life tactics to come into play. This is all part of the game's Destruction Toolbox.

Game types are Infiltration, Convoy, Retrieval and Team Deathmatch, and there are gadgets and perks to earn the longer you play.

Atmoic's older project, Six Days in Fallujah, never saw the light of day after publisher Konami pulled out due to media frenzy over the Iraq War setting of the game.

Peter Tamte, Atomic boss, is confident the game will one day be released, and is adamant the game won't change its setting to "Bullcraptistan" to remain current.
