Nvidia blows a palace to smithereens in real-time destruction demo

Gee what force.

Battlefield 4 showed us destroyable cover last night, and very boom boom pretty and bitty it was.

But it's not quite a palace being systematically shot to smithereens by some all-powerful crosshair of the heavens, is it? That's more Nvidia's style.

Nvidia's Real-Time Dynamic Fracture GDC 2013 video begins with an Ancient Greece-style amphitheatre-slash-palace and ends with rubble and dust and glorious ruin. Not even Ned Kelly in an iron suit could stand up to that kind of punishment.

Best of all, the demonstration is apparently running in real-time on one GTX 680 graphics card.
