Reggie Fils-Aime has admitted that some of the videos shown during Nintendo's E3 press conference were actually of games for other consoles.

The acknowledgment came during an interview on GameTrailers. Host Geoff Keighley asked the Nintendo of America boss about the videos shown of games like Darksiders II and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, saying, "That was footage from Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of those games, right?"

"Absolutely," replied Fils-Aime. "Because we're talking a year away from when this system's going to launch."

So will the Wii U versions of those games look just as good? "Absolutely," Reggie said again.

"In terms of how good it looks it's going to be driven by what the individual developers do. It's going to be 1080p, it's going to be high definition...

"You're going to see games that take full advantage of a system that has the latest technology and can push out some incredible graphics."
