Wild Arms remake on the cards

The Magic Box reports that Sony plans to have the first PSone Wild Arms RPG remade for PS2. Dubbed Wild Arms F, this remake will do away with the super-deformed/cartoon style visuals in favour of proportions and realistic 3D visuals, and apparently all the game text will be rewritten and voice acted.

Wild Arms F is apparently due out in Japan this winter, and although there's no guarantee of it making the transition, we would be very happy if it did. Wild Arms 3, published in Europe by Ubi Soft a few months, wasn't the best thing ever, but it was certainly jolly good fun.
