Konami's Eurogamer Expo line-up includes Metal Gear Rising and PES 2013

Plus Castlevania 3DS and ZOE HD. All playable. Plus prizes. Plus other stuff. Plus plus!

Expoooooooo! There are now only 78 days to go until this year's epic Eurogamer Expo at Earls Court on 27th-30th September. Today we're announcing that Konami is bringing its biggest-ever playable line-up, allowing you to go hands-on with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PES 2013, Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate on 3DS.

That's not all, either. It's Metal Gear's 25th anniversary this year, and to celebrate we're going to have every single game in the series playable on the show floor. That is not all we are doing to celebrate this milestone, either, but I am not allowed to provide more hints as to what else may be occurring or I will be shot with a dart and stuffed in a locker. We'll update you with more details once they are finalised.

Konami's really going all out this year though. For PES 2013, for example, as well as absolutely tons of playable copies of the game, there will be freestyle football displays throughout the show. You should also pick up a copy of the show guide on the day, too, because it will include hints on how to win various Konami prizes throughout the show. I don't even know what these are, but I want them.

There's loads more stuff to announce for the Expo, but we've already said that Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3, Just Dance 4 and Rocksmith will be playable from Ubisoft, while Capcom is bringing Resident Evil 6, DmC and Lost Planet 3 for you to touch and hold, and Square Enix is rocking up with Tomb Raider and Hitman: Absolution.

You are still seeing the thin end of the wedge. I want to show you the whole wedge - you're going to f***ing love this wedge - but for now please be patient. Soon we'll announce more games and start letting you know about developer session speakers. (Hubba!) We'll also do our best to announce the times for those speakers well in advance this year too, since we know people want to plan around them.
