Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta dated, priced

Plus: GOTY edition still set for October.

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 3's fifth downloadable content pack, Mothership Zeta, will be released on 3rd August on Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live for 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).

The publisher also said a bit more about what's involved. Apparently you will fight off alien abductors to escape the eponymous mothership, making use of new weapons like the Alien Atomiser, Alien Disintegrator and Drone Cannon. New outfits include the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and Samurai Armour.

As to how you end up on Zeta, would you believe there's a strange alien signal being broadcast throughout the Capital Wasteland? It leads you to a crashed UFO, and then on to your main mission.
