Fresh from a Kickstarter success, the new Toejam & Earl game is due out in 2017 on PC and console, courtesy of Adult Swim (the Steam page is up now).

Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove successfully hit its $400k Kickstarter goal back in March 2015.

It's from series designer Greg Johnson and his studio Humanature, and is billed as a true successor to the 1991 original with an isometric perspective, 2D sprites, and an emphasis on exploration and cooperative play.

Here's the trailer.
