Sony's World Game Project revealed

Western game demos hit Japan.

Sony has unveiled its World Game Project, a new promotion designed to highlight western-made games in Japan.

World Game Project comes to Tokyo district Akihabara on 23rd July, reports Andriasang.

A demo event will showcase Deus Ex: Human Revolution, inFamous 2, Resistance 3 and Shadows of the Damned, which was made in Japan, but hey-ho.

Video footage of other games will also be shown.

Western games often have a difficult time finding an audience in Japan, although this cultural difference has eroded in recent years.

Rockstar's L.A. Noire and Sucker Punch's inFamous 2 took the top two spots in Japan's all format gaming chart last week.
