Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D launches in the UK on 1st July, Nintendo has announced.

The third-person fast-paced action shooter includes a demo for Resident Evil Revelations, a survival horror title yet to be dated.

The Mercenaries 3D is based on the Mercenaries bonus mode from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.

It includes eight playable characters: Chris, Claire, Jill, Wesker, Hunk, Krauser, Rebecca and Barry.
