Arcade Paradise is something special

Plus: Two-Point Campus! Cult of the Lamb! And more.

It's another Monday so it's another Weekly - the show that recaps and discusses last week on Eurogamer for you. And remember, premium supporters of Eurogamer get these episodes every Friday, whereas everyone else listens from Monday.

Today, news reporter Ed Nightingale talks about running a university of his own in Two-Point Campus, which he really liked. And we hear from Christian Donlan about a game I've been really looking forward to, Cult of the Lamb. Spoiler: it's good.

But Christian is more excited about the game he's just reviewed - a game called Arcade Paradise. It's a game about running a laundrette but also an arcade within it, which, with time and careful management, will grow into the main attraction. It's a game about games, about the memory of games, and a game about doing the mundane to enable the passions of your life. To hear Donlan talk about it, Arcade Paradise could be something very special indeed.

Also on Weekly: a roundup of all the videos and features and news around the site that caught my eye last week. You can find Weekly, the Newscast and One-to-one (the in-depth interview series) on all major podcast platforms. Look for "Eurogamer Podcasts" - simple! Here are some handy links:
