Wii Music gets US release date
It's out over there next month.
Nintendo has confirmed Wii Music will launch in the US on October 20th.
You know, it's the game (OR IS IT A GAME or is it not or is it or DOES IT MATTER) where you get to play all manner of musical instruments using the Wii remote. Videos et cetera can be found on the gamepage.
So when's it out here? No idea. "We've made no announcement for Europe," a spokesperson told us. "This is just for the US." We're guessing it'll arrive in time for Christmas, though.

Still, at least Europe gets "Disaster- Day of Crisis" on October 24th...the US hasn't been given a release date yet.
I think we got the better end of the deal for once.

Or it could be that all the instruments make the sound of the bottom of a barrel being scraped.

Get some perspective chaps, our hobby isn't manly or macho. It's play, pure and simple.

Absolutely true. However, I'm glad you said it and not me, cos you'll still get slagged for playing 'kiddie' games. No need to let facts stand inthe way of shitting on the Wii, is there, gents?

Hey, I thought all games consoles were good for was for teenage boys to show how grown up they were by playing violent sweary games which are carbon copies of each other.
Screw innovation.. Screw fun.. I want more fps games!

Well and truly sick and tired of this.
How can you judge what is primarily an interactive experience based solely on words on a page and videos of gameplay? This leaves out the primary component of the medium, which is interactivity. The interactiveness. The interaction.
Would you judge a film by a radio advert? A book by a TV advert? A woman by if her 'collar' and 'cuffs' matched?

The people who write stuff like that are just owners of another console who've written it off based on two things:
1. it's a wii exclusive (something they cant play)
2. It's not a shooter
But yet perversely will be quite happy playing guitar hero...
