Vanguard beta end-date

Accounts going to test server.

The Vanguard: Saga of Heroes open beta will close just before midnight on 23rd January according to Sigil Games Online and publishing partners Koch Media and Sony Online Entertainment.

That's in anticipation of the game's launch on 30th January, of course. Those who have pre-ordered the game as part of its special campaign will be able to gain access early - with more information due soon.

As for what will happen to your beta characters - Sigil says that they will be transferred over to a test server, which will become active at some point after launch, the idea presumably being to help, well, test things.

    too soon! too soon! Shame they ran out of dosh, i'll check back in 6-8 months thanks! It wasn't too bad, bare-bones are there for a very nice game, just next to others (that i won't mention but we all know what i'm talking about :p) it pales in comparrison!

    Shame really, but i guess this last ditch effort to get more finance has to be done, make or break really and i hope that it isn't break! Its definatly one of the nicer ones out there.

    I'll wtach how it progresses...

    Yes it is indeed a shame. I tried the beta, and if the technical problems were sorted the game world expolation thing was quite enthralling. But now BC is out so I will be sorted fo 6 months or so.
