Universal songs to appear in SingStore News

Sony has signed a deal that will see Universal Music's songs appearing in the European SingStore.

The first major instalment is planned for 8th August. However an early taster, I Want You Back by the Jackson Five, was released yesterday - "due to popular demand from the SingStar community".

There really are some winners in there, including I Think We're Alone Now, Pass the Dutchie and Everybody Wants to Rule the World, which should give you some indication as to the age of the author of this article.

You do not have to say anything, but anything you do say will probably involve irreverance and knob gags.

Finally. The lack of UMG has been a cause for concern amongst the Singstar community for a while. It didn't help that UMG are owned by Vivendi, who own Activision, who make Guitar Hero.

Pass the dutchie is already on Singstar no? I got it on a disc. It's wank and anyone who sings it should be punched in the nuts
