R.U.S.E. and H.A.W.X. 2 firmly dated

Driver: San Francisco due out Q1 2011.

Ubisoft has firmly dated Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 and R.U.S.E. in an updated schedule.

Flight simulator H.A.W.X. 2 will be released on 3rd September, and World War II real-time strategy game R.U.S.E. will be released on 10th September.

The PlayStation 3 version of R.U.S.E. will support Sony's motion controller PS Move.

The recently delayed Driver: San Francisco will be released between the beginning of January and the end of March 2011.

Elsewhere, Wii and DS racing game Trackmania has been dated for 24th September, and Wii adventure game Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring has been pegged for 12th November.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is still down for a Q1 2011 release, as is Kinect-enabled music rhythm game Child of Eden.

Hawx is a flight sim as much as Ubiscum are a good PC publisher!

Looking forward to Ruse, especially as it will use Move.

After seeing the recent tech demo for Move I got excited about the prospect of using it with a (hopefully) good strategy game.

You should probably mention that the Trackmania game on DS is actually Trackmania Turbo which is essentially a sequel to the previous DS title.

Also, if Trackmania Wii runs at 60fps that's a purchase from me.

PC impressions of R.U.S.E. have been very positive, but that doesn't guarantee that the PS3 version will be of course. Also they put the R.U.S.E. controls in there in just maybe two months max before the game went gold it seems, and it will be very interesting how polished it ends up being, but the initial impressions I've read have been pretty positive. I'm definitely interested. I'll have to start my gaming budget spending planning calendar early this year, thanks to the great titles already coming out and then all the extra stuff that Move has made me interested in (I wouldn't have considered RUSE or Resident Evil 5 otherwise, and maybe would have left Heavy Rain by the wayside as well, but now I want all three of these, besides the two bigger party games coming with them, GT5, LBP2, Killzone 3 and what not).

Hey what? R.U.S.E. has Kinect support? Suddenly I'm excited about that game.

"Nope?" Oh, OK. Nevermind then. I suddenly don't care again.

Mmmm there's nothing quite like a nice firm date

Wait a sec, when did the title for RUSE get split up? You can only have a compound name if the words mean something, no matter how contrived.

Good point Optimaximal and well spotted.

I thought Ruse was a good name, given the tactical nature of the game.

I wonder why they changed it to an acronym?

I thought R.U.S.E. was always the title from the start?

Anyway I'd be interested in RUSE (or R.U.S.E., or whatever) except, well, nutty DRM and all. It wasn't all that difficult for me to drop RUSE from my list with all the other awesome RTS releases this year.
