Trailer on EGTV.

GSC Game World and THQ have released another trailer and a selection of shots as part of its series of releases cataloguing the game's features pre-launch.

The trailer - called "What Lies Within" - can be found on Eurogamer TV and focuses on the game's myriad beasties. There's also a bit with an accordion in it.

Latest screenshots aim to demonstrate similar things, so be sure to head in their direction too.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is due out in March, according to the end of the trailer. For more, check our recent account of a trip to Ukraine, along with an interview and previous diary instalments.

I'm looking forward to this, the production values are never going to be too high but hopefully it can still be quite immersive.

The trailer certainly doesn't do the graphics as much justice as the screenshots - here's hoping those are all 100% in-game.

Although I was looking forward to this, I can't in all honesty be asked to buy it anymore. Am I the only one that had the "shoot the wardrobe" physics demo of this two or three years ago?

Being a games programmer and now designer by trade. I'm confused about why this took so long. There isn't anything in it (as far as I personally can see) that shouldn't have had this come out some time ago.

Wish them all the best yada yada yada but, I think I'll keep the money allocated for this and buy mario, smash brothers or metroid instead.

I've had this game on pre-order from Play.com for TWO YEARS now...!!!
It was �17.99 at the time, there doesn't seem any point canceling the pre-order now because it actually looks like it will hit the march release date (at last). YAY!
