New SOCOM delayed by a month
Still no confirmation of Euro date.
The US release of PS3 exclusive SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Confrontation has been delayed by a month.
The game was originally due out on September 16th. However, a new post by SCEA's Seth Luisi on the SOCOM website states, "Unfortunately, even working late into the nights and every weekend, we've had to re-evaluate our schedule.
"Our top priority is delivering the best SOCOM online experience possible. Tough decisions had to be made and we've decided to push back the release date to October 14th, 2008."
It's the right thing to do, Luisi continued: "We just had to face the facts and do what is best for the title. Rather than sacrifice features, quality and stability, we had to do the right thing and re-adjust our schedule."
There's still no word on when SOCOM: Confrontation will make it over here, with a spokesperson telling Eurogamer, "We haven't announced a release date for the UK yet." In the meantime, there are some nice videos and things over on the gamepage.

This game should be made of w1n. Back to the old school SOCOM 1 gameplay. That game was wicked and I hope this one is truly going back to its roots.
Can't wait for it but glad they're getting everything nice and polished and not rushing it.

What was wrong with SOCOM II? III was the cack one.
I'm just getting moist at the prospect of playing Crossroads again in HD.
