MJ's Moonwalker for Virtual Console News

Wii News by Robert Purchese

9 November, 2009

SEGA's classic Moonwalker game may be heading to Virtual Console months after the death of the man it's based on, Michael Jackson.

PEGI supplies the evidence: a listing for the game on Wii carrying the 12 age rating.

An adaptation of the Moonwalker film, the game follows the story of mean man Joe Pesci and hero MJ, who spins and kicks his way through 1930s period baddies. Hit songs "Beat It" and "Smooth Criminal" feature.

SEGA has not commented.

Excellent, so we can relive the days of having Bubbles jump on our shoulders once we had liberated enough kids locked in cupboards. OW!*Leg flick*

To date, it's still the only game that allows you to thrust your crotch into childrens faces...

Making enemies dance themsleves to death still rates as one of my fav special attacks. I'm hoping its one of the perks in COD 6.

The news that this can be re-released means the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection just got even less ultimate than before.

Take it this is the dodgy Megadrive game, not the excellent Arcade game.

rack, the mega drive version is about eight billion times better than the arcade one and anyone who suggests otherwise should be fed to wolverines
