News Xbox 360 PlayStation 3 Wii

Not just for the Wii after all.

The next instalment in the Mega Man series will be released on multiple platforms.

That's according to Famitsu magazine (as translated by Kotaku).

The game was first announced last week in Nintendo Power magazine, leading to speculation it would only be available for the Wii. However, Famitsu reports it will be on PSN and Xbox Live too.

Expect eight 2D platform levels, eight bosses and the option to play as Proto Man from the start. No word on a release date as yet.

That reminds me, I never played MM9 as Proto Man although I'm pretty sure I bought the DLC. Fantastic game, hope MM10 will be just as good.

This is the first I have heard of MM10. Big fan of the original 6 megaman games and the first 3 MMX games. MM9 was great but I got a bit bored halfway through and have not played it since, so not sure I'll rush out and get the next game. I will need to sit down and complete MM9 but I'm still playing through MM5 and 6 that I missed out on in the early ninties.

Hope they dont make the achievements as ridiculous as they did with Mega Man 9 as the game itself is an achievement to complete.

This wont play on psp will it? It would be the perfect game to play on the commute to get me so wound up in the morning so that I finally tell my boss to stick his job where the don't don't shine.

PSP version please!
