Lost Planet 2 co-op demo coming to PS3
It'll be available a week from today.
Capcom is releasing a co-op demo for Lost Planet 2 on PSN next week.
It's the same excerpt which will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show and will be released on 24th September, the same day the show starts.
"PS3 owners will not only be able to engage in the frantic battle against the enormous G-Type Akrid, the boss Akrid of the episode 1, but will also get the exclusive experience of two additional missions in an online co-operative extermination of the Akrid of E.D.N. III," wrote Capcom's Brian Keltner on the PlayStation Blog.
A new trailer will be released alongside the demo, showing off the new desert environment and "even bigger Akrid than seen before".
Eurogamer will be reporting LIVE from the Tokyo Game Show next week, bringing you all the news as it happens, or very soon after it happens at least.

I do agree with your point about the SP experience being sacrificed for the MP experience. I really hope Uncharted 2 hasn't done this!

Same here. There is always a full game i need to finish. I know i will be trying out the Brutal Legend demo tonight though.
Just to know if i need to make room for it in the busy upcoming months.

Played it 4P co-op so I can't really comment on the A.I.'s ability to replicate human interaction.

I'll try out something I'm actively interested in though, to make sure my money is wisely spent.
