Konami confirms PES UK dates News

Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will launch on 23rd October for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

A PSP version of the football game will follow on 6th November, before a Wii version shows up on 20th November.

We expect a demo will appear before then, too.

With PES 2010, "there's no question Konami has turned sharply away from the cul-de-sac into which the series appeared to be disappearing last year", we concluded after our week-long playtest of the game, impressions of which were posted on Monday.

Whether that's enough to bridge the FIFA gap, however, remains to be seen.

I'll wait for reviews before getting the PC version, but the Wii version is a day one purchase. I much prefer the PS2/Wii engine to the 'next gen' one, feels so much smoother and responsive.
