JoWooD bringing yoga title to Wii
Judge it by its size, would you? Oh wait.
JoWooD plans to bring a new yoga title to the Wii this October.
It's called Yoga for Wii and is based around the millennia-old premise that having a bit of a stretch while wearing tights will make you live forever. A combination of balance board and Wiimote inputs monitor and record how well players perform and hold their poses. Virtual gurus will offer step-by-step guidance along the way.
Story mode takes players from beginners to guru-level. Training mode then lets users practice poses to incorporate into their routines. Finally, Routine mode has pre-set and user-defined combinations of poses to match.
And, obviously, there are mini-games. These increase general yoga knowledge.
