GT5 Prologue price undecided
Sony rubbishes rumours.
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue's price is still to be decided, Sony said today, following a report on Dutch website Fok! which claimed the Blu-Ray edition would cost EUR 45.
In addition, Sony was also unable to narrow a date down for Polyphony's eagerly awaited PS3 sequel. Current expectations are that both the PSN and Blu-Ray versions will be available before the end of 2007.
GT5 Prologue is a demo version of what to expect when the full Gran Turismo 5 is released. It will feature more than 40 (incredibly shiny) cars, and tracks including the Eiger Nordwand course, the London City Track, and Suzuka. You can either race these the right way around, reverse them, or try alternative routes.
But perhaps the most exciting feature will be the ability to face-off against up to 15 others over the PlayStation Network, complete with global online rankings.

The download version has been announced as a free (at least for Japan) but the retail bluray version will not be free.

When you're driving IRL, the cockpit is in the edges of your peripheral vision at best -- it's a conscious decision to look down at the tach or speedo or stereo. Bonnet-cam is much closer to what you actually see when driving.
I guess one possible option is the NFSU thing of panning the camera around the interior. But that just demonstrates the irrelevance of it to the gameplay.

GT5P isn't a demo it's got enough features to be passed as a fully fledged game GT TV alone has me hot under the collar.

No, GT5P (not GTHD) has been announced as free... but maybe Sony changed their greedy litte minds since late august.

If you don't like Prologue don't buy it, wait till 2008/2009 for GT5 if you want to wait, while those who don't want to wait can play this prologue of GT5 till the GT5 comes out.
Jesus it's no different than Sony releasing WipeoutHD as a taster before Wipeout PS3, or Socom Confrontation as a taster before Socom 4 comes out it beats waiting a whole year anticipating the game and not playing some form of it.
