Forza 3 to offer Ferrari 458 as DLC

Plus: Japanese track, cars confirmed.

Forza Motorsport 3 will recreate the brand new Ferrari 458 Italia as DLC this holiday.

The Ferrari 430 successor will appear in Gran Turismo 5, too, which adds a competitive twist.

The Tokyo Game Show also confirmed the Fujimi Kaido track and many Japanese cars for Forza 3. There's a list of those cars on the Xbox.com website, and a video of the Fujimi Kaido track on Forzamotorsport.net.

The Forza Motorsport 3 demo was released today on Xbox Live, ahead of the full game's launch on 23rd October.

On the xbox website they have a picture of a Toyota Supra with the tag line "The Honda S2000 will be in the game."

Can anyone tell me how long it will take before a Silver account owner can download the demo?

It is normally a couple of weeks for major demos.

The kenundrum is, with so many good games coming out before Christmas, for those of us with all 5 consoles, which do you buy out of Forza 3 and GT5. Such decisions and lets be honest, its a bit pointless having both isnt it no matter how much of a car game fan I am.

Also, is there actually a human which exists that would buy one game over the other as it has one car in it which the opposing game didnt? Or is it like I think, just a marketing ploy because the think such wallies exist?

    Solution = wait...

I might just buy FNR4 and a few more 2009s over Chrimbo. The BIGGEST temptations will be Fortza and Uncharted.

The PooSPe looks like a damp sqiub as usual. That can stay filled with 'classics', as it doesn't have the (fully featured) games, online service or controls for much else.

GT5 is defo going to be bought, but as they took 5 years to make it, I might just take my own time in buying it from the pre-owned pile - fuck 'em. Hope it's amazing - including online, AI and car damage.

No idea what's happening on Wii/DS. Nintendo's own remarks have made them irrelevent on the timescale. It makes no difference if I buy their product now, or in 2012. They don't care about my interests, and I'm not their target audience. Once again, they don't need or appear to want my money.

If NoE feel any different, then they do fuck all to express this fact. Cocks.

    Gay Tony's the only instabuy.

    :D

    /waits...

Is GT5 being developed by Blizzard? would explain why it's taking so long ;-)
  • themorganator #11 2 years ago

We'll probably be playing Forza 4 before we see GT5!

Yeah, and Ion Storm's been resurrected (they got Romero back in and made him wash his hair) to work on the tracks and frontend.
