This week on the podcast Brammers discusses Heavy Rain ahead of his review going up on Wednesday at 5pm. Find out whether it's just a bunch of QTEs or not!

Meanwhile, Oli Welsh talks some more about Star Trek Online, and pays tribute to the Eurogamer Star Alliance, the friendliest bunch of Trekkers we've ever known. Brammers also reveals a startlingly in-depth knowledge of Star Trek film trivia, much to the disgust of his colleagues.

holy hell the embedded code is already gone!!!
edit: i think you should spread out the code letters through out the show so people arent just grabbing them (like im tring to do) -but i actually listen too so it gives me more of a chance

@ gjgjg: They don't give a toss about people who have to work/study all day getting a code, so I doubt you've got much chance of them bothering to spread them throughout the programme.

Sorry, the PS3 code was me.

Tip: don't use the PS3, Media Go is faster, use the Redeem Code bit on a PC using Media Go to get it.

Widge: Such as? I don't remember hearing any spoilers, only Tom has really played it and only spoke about it generally like plot parts that have been widely known such as the ones that were in the demo at the Eurogamer Expo.

I searched for chatroulette and saw a man waving his ding dong at me. Very Very weird. Basically you chat to a random person, who is also on the website, via text or webcam. A lot of guys on there strangely!

ps can you PLEASE TURN THE VOLUME UP. I can't hear it doing the washing up.

Do you know this article doesn't show up on the 'Site Summary' RSS feed? Don't know if that's on purpose as it's a blog post after all. Don't mind personally as I subscribe to the specific podcast RSS feed in a separate podcast app.

Oddly, I did get the story for the video podcast on EGTV, although I can't see that anywhere on the front page.

Tommy B reckons that Eurogamer gave Fahrenheit 8/10, but in actual fact they gave it 9/10. Given that it was all of five years ago, I'll let him away with it. He also reckons that whilst Fahrenheit was "naive and cluttered", Heavy Rain is "simple and elegant". Given that he mistakenly thought that Fahrenheit was awarded an 8/10, and that he seems to think that Heavy Rain is less naive and cluttered than that game, can we therefore safely assume that it will be receiving 9/10 come 5 o'clock tomorrow?

Gotta say - I LOVE these podcasts. you should hold a contest to let an EGer join you via phone / Skype one day - or even a prize of a trip to the offices in Brighton!

It'd be a laugh. Probably.

If you get jingles, make sure they're not shit - as I think things are already great.
