Enrolment for Section 8 beta now open
Play SouthPeak's new FPS this summer.
SouthPeak has opened registration for the Section 8 PC beta taking place this summer.
Section 8, for those who aren't familiar, is a PC first-person shooter said to offer "unprecedented strategic control over the battlefield". Set in the distant future, it's about what happens when Earth's colonies start to revolt and the elite 8th Armoured Infantry troops are sent to shut them down.
They're otherwise known as Section 8, a nickname based on the old military regulation which saw soldiers classed as unfit for duty due to mental instability. They've got powered suits of armour and a lot of courage, dropping directly into the battlefield from 15,000 feet.
If you've got the guts and mental instability required you can sign up for the beta at JoinSection8.com.
Section 8 will be released for PC and Xbox 360 later this year.
